Weather, rain and water
Weather, rain and water for your farm
Trees n Bees fills in the daily weather for your farm and keeps your own rain gauge readings beside it, so frosts, chill hours and rainfall sit next to your bloom dates and harvests. Water tanks show how full they are and how many days of water are left.

Daily weather, filled in
Each day's minimum and maximum temperature and rainfall for your farm's location, from Open-Meteo, with no weather station needed.
- Chill hours through winter and growing degree days through the season.
- Frosts shown beside bloom dates, so a poor set has a likely explanation.
Your own rain gauge
Record what your gauge says, as often as you read it. Trees n Bees compares your readings with the automatic rainfall over the same days.
Tanks and water use
Keep track of each tank's level and the water you use, and see how many days of water are left at your current rate, with monthly use over the year.
Alerts on your phone
- Frost watch and frost warning, at the temperatures you choose.
- Dry spell, heavy rain coming and hot day.
- Tank low, by level or by days left.
Who it suits
Growers who want to know whether their varieties got enough chill, whether a frost hit at bloom, and how long the tanks will last before the next rain, without buying a weather station. If you have one, or a rain gauge on a post, your own readings sit beside the automatic ones.
How the numbers are worked out
- Chill hours: hours above 0 °C and at or below 7.2 °C, from the hourly temperatures for your farm.
- Growing degree days: each day's average temperature above 10 °C, added up through the season.
- Days of water left: a tank's estimated level, from your last reading plus rain on its roof and less recorded use, divided by its usual daily use.
